New Mercies Community Marketplace — Step-by-Step Instructions

Welcome! This guide walks you through the entire process of registering your business on the New Mercies Community Marketplace — from creating your account to getting your listing approved and live. Follow each step in order and you\'ll be up and running in no time.

Account Setup 1

Create Your Account

1Go to the marketplace website and click "Sign Up" in the top right corner.
2On the sign-up page, select the "Vendor / Business" account type (not Community Member).
3Enter your full name, email address, and a password (at least 8 characters).
4Confirm your password by typing it again.
5Open the "Terms of Use & Member Agreement" section and read through it.
6Check the box confirming you have read and agree to the terms.
7Click the "Create Account" button.

💡

Tip: You must be a member of New Mercies Christian Church to list your business on this marketplace.

Account Setup 2

Verify Your Email

Enter the code sent to your inbox

1After clicking "Create Account", a verification code is sent to the email address you entered.
2Check your email inbox (and spam/junk folder if you don't see it) for a message from the marketplace.
3Enter the 6-digit verification code into the box on screen.
4Click "Verify & Continue".
5If you didn't receive the code, click "Resend verification code" and check your email again.

Tip: Once verified, you'll be automatically taken to the business registration form.

Step 1

Step 1 — Choose Your Listing Type

Tell us what kind of listing you're creating

1Select "Vendor / Entrepreneur" if you run a business or sell products/services (catering, landscaping, cleaning, etc.).
2Select "Service Professional" if you are a licensed professional (lawyer, notary, accountant, etc.).
3Select "Free / Nonprofit Resource" if you offer free community resources (food assistance, grief share, counseling, etc.).
4Click "Next: Business Info →" to continue.

💡

Tip: Free / Nonprofit Resources are listed at no cost and do not require a registration document (except Counseling, which requires a license).

Step 2

Step 2 — Enter Your Business Information

Provide your business details

1Business / Organization Name — the name customers will see (required).
2Owner / Contact Name — your full name (required).
3Church Member Number — your New Mercies member ID, found on your membership card or by contacting the church office (required).
4Category — select the service category that best fits your business (required).
5Years in Business — how long you've been operating (optional).
6Subcategory — if your category has subcategories, pick the one that fits (optional).
7Description — describe your services, specialties, and what makes you unique (required).
8Phone Number — a clickable number customers can call (required).
9Email Address — where customers can reach you (optional).
10Website OR Social Media Page — you must provide at least one link (website, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) (required).
11Photo or Logo — upload an image to represent your business (optional but recommended).
12Click "Next: Documents & Plan →" to continue.

💡

Tip: You cannot move to the next step until all required fields (marked with *) are filled in and a website or social media link is provided.

Step 3

Step 3 — Upload Documents & Choose Your Plan

Verify your business and pick a listing tier

1Upload your business registration document (LLC certificate, business license, EIN letter, etc.) — PDF, JPG, or PNG accepted (required for all paid and free listings except nonprofit resources).
2If registering under "Counseling", upload your valid counseling license or credential instead.
3Choose your listing plan:
4Click "Next: Review →" to continue.

Tip: Paid plans include a 2-month free trial — your listing goes live immediately after approval, and you won't be charged until the trial ends.

Step 4

Step 4 — Review & Submit

Confirm your details and agree to the terms

1Review all your information on the summary screen — listing type, business name, owner, category, phone, plan, and more.
2If anything needs correcting, click "← Back" to return to the previous step and make changes.
3When everything looks correct, click "Review & Agree to Terms".
4A terms dialog will appear — scroll through and read the full Platform Terms & Disclaimer.
5Check the box at the bottom confirming you have read and agree.
6Click "I Agree & Continue" to submit your registration.

💡

Tip: If you see an error message after submitting, read it carefully — it will tell you what needs to be fixed. You can correct the issue and submit again.

Step 5

After Submission — What Happens Next

Approval and payment

1You'll see a "Registration Submitted!" confirmation screen.
2Our admin team reviews your listing within 48 business hours.
3If you chose a Free Listing or Free Resource, no payment is needed — you're done once approved.
4If you chose a paid plan (Basic or Promoted), click the "Subscribe" button on the confirmation screen to set up your payment.
5Your card is not charged until after your listing is approved.
6You'll be notified once a decision is made on your listing.

Tip: You can upgrade from a Free Listing to a paid plan at any time from your dashboard after logging in.
